The James Armchair reads mid-century at a glance and contemporary on second look: a slim solid wood frame, open at the sides, holding a deep tufted seat and back.
Lacquered wood tubes run through the armrests and cream linen webbing shows between the frame and the cushions — the construction is part of the design rather than hidden behind it. High-resilience foam over 90 mm elastic webbing keeps the seat generous without going soft.
Upholstery, solid wood structure and armrest lacquer are each chosen at order, so the same frame can read quiet or graphic.
