Exceptional in its craftwork, the Nouvelle Vague Center Table rejects traditional conventions in favour of experimentation. Round handmade ceramic pieces, painted in a unique crackle glaze, are placed around a lacquered top, creating a sense of movement that evokes the motion of the waves.
The top is matte lacquered wood in a choice of fourteen colours; the structure is clad in Mar di Giava ceramic tiles, each one handmade and hand-painted, in twenty glazes from soft whites to deep blue and gold.
At 63.7 inches long and under 12 inches high, it sits low and long in front of a sofa.
